We hand-pick everything we use to ensure that we make products that we are proud to sell and that you will enjoy owning and using for years to come.

The board tops are made with 1/2 inch hardwood plywood or birch plywood which costs a little more than exterior grade plywood or MDF but allows for a nice smooth stained or painted finish and a superior playing surface.

We only use hand selected premium grade, sturdy 2 x 4 lumber for our board frames and each frame is custom fit to the board top to eliminate any warping or uneven surfaces.

The folding legs are also made from 2 x 4's and are attached with carriage bolts and locknuts and each board comes with a heavy duty zinc-coated steel carrying handle.

We take extra time and care to make sure the board tops match the frames so there are no crooked edges or overhang and all top and side corners are rounded over and sanded smooth.

Everything is screwed, glued, nailed, puttied and all surfaces and edges sanded smooth. The painted sets are primed with Kilz and painted with two coats of exterior gloss latex enamel. We paint our boards for looks and to protect the wood. That’s why we even paint the bottoms and legs! Our custom designs and lettering are painted with acrylic and latex enamels.

We make all of our boards to meet ACA regulations: 24” wide x 48” long, 4" high in front 12" high in back, with a 6" drilled hole centered 9" from the top. These boards play great with a nice smooth surface (but not so smooth that your bags slide off!) and no bounce!

We use these same standards for quality of materials and construction to make our tailgate sizes (24” x 36”) which are also available in standard and custom editions.
